This was basically a revenge trade, and the feeling intensified once I noticed that I had placed the wrong position size, three times larger than I intended. The moment I entered the trade, the price immediately moved against my direction and went past my usual $20 stop. Once I realized the position size was wrong, I removed my stop-loss (SL) to give the trade more room to wiggle. Luckily for me, the price moved back into profit, and I exited the trade right away. Most of my big losses have happened because I removed my stop-loss while trading with a large position size. I need to stop doing this. I got really tilted from the last trade. I need to be patient, wait for confirmation before entering a position, and stay away from the chart once a position is placed to reduce stress. Stick to the plan. |

30 seconds later after I exited from the last trade, I went back in realizing the setup still looks good, but then again exited right away because I didn't know if I'm actually thinking right. It has been a long day, might be tired. Again, if I just let it run, this would have been a win. It's same setup as the last trade, except the last one has slightly better entry. |
