162 3 2026-10-15 day trading US500 46.20 SL- My entry was good, I knew the price would drop because it was showing so much weakness, but since the entry was after a major economic news, I felt I needed to get it some wiggle room so I remove the SL for a short time just so the price swings could calm for a bit and not get wicked-out. Looking back, even though this was a win, I should not have done that. The worst thing is getting rewarded for breaking the trading rules.

The setup looked really good, and I thought it would bounce back up to my target, but it just kept breaking through each support level. I was really tempted to open another position and remove the SL once again to give it some wiggle room, so I did. I still need to work on accepting a loss. Also, because Level #3 was so close, I became too focused on the result of the trade instead of executing the right move.
